A studio of two that designs and ships the whole thing.
Most teams hand off across disciplines and lose the idea at every handoff. We stay together. Design and code, same person. One brief, one vision, one launch. No translation layers. No diluted ideas.
A few things we're proud of.
Four projects. Site, store, game, product. Drag through them. Each one shipped with both of us on it.
Three core services.
Every service below is something we both design and build. No handoff. No time spent in meetings explaining to someone else what we meant.
Software development
Websites, apps, games, and custom systems, built for whatever the project demands.
Commerce & web shops
B2C storefronts engineered for speed and conversion. Branded, fast, ships to your customers.
Proprietary programs & applications
SaaS, internal tools, bespoke software. You describe the problem; we build the solution and stick around to measure it.
Small studio, direct line.
You talk to us. Not a project manager. Not an account rep. The people shipping it.
Frame
A week of hard questions before a single pixel. We stress the goal until the brief is sharp enough to build against.
Design
We design in motion, in the browser, close to real. You see it move early, while it's still cheap to change.
Build
Same hands, same standards. We write the production code as we design, so 'the demo' and 'the site' are the same thing.
Ship & stay
We launch it, measure it, and stick around. Most clients become repeat clients. Because we didn't leave.
Two people, one obsession with the finished thing.
We're Ethernus. Started it because the best work we ever did happened when design and engineering sat at the same desk. The worst happened when they didn't. So we kept the studio small: small enough that nothing gets lost on the way to launch.
Nebi Canlioglu
Founder · Design & engineering
Started the studio on one idea: the person drawing the screen should be the person building it. Designs and writes the same work, so nothing gets lost between the mockup and the thing that ships.
Joshua Mohanlal
Founder · Design & engineering
Started the studio to keep design and engineering in the same set of hands. Treats how a thing is built and how it feels as the same problem, and stays on a project from the first sketch to the last commit.
We'd rather do five projects properly than fifty at arm's length.
